Kaleidoskop (2023)
Choreography by Stephanie Schober, created with dancers Juraj Bileny, Clara Farkašovská, Dominic Dolnik, Alexandra Košiková, Regina Laurová, Julia Pabst, Sárka Králiková, Julie Marková, Jasmine Mitková, Kristina Reháková and Hana Sakácová at VSMU Bratislava. With lighting and stage design by Michaela Pavelková.
This work forms part of an ongoing investigation into the creation of and translation between minimalist sound and movement scores. The use of repetition and layers results in moving imagery that constantly and subtly changes. It draws the focus to the expressiveness of individual gestures and group relationships. Supported by the Slovak Arts Council Kaleidoskop toured to dance festivals and venues across Slovakia including Slovak National Theatre, Divadlo Lab Bratislava, Move Fest Košice and Move Fest Ostrava.
