ASKING QUEERER QUESTIONS

Asking Queerer Questions is a project initiated by Stephanie Schober to bring together queer and allied creatives to research and develop new ideas, to share tools, skills and resources, and to network. To support life-long learning the project works with cultural organisations and HE institutions to make professional development opportunities available at no cost to artists at any stage of their career including students and those who do not have formal arts education. Between 2021 and 2025 a series of workshops were hosted by Studio 25 in Manchester and Trinity Laban in London. Exploring themes such as 'Find your voice' and 'Cross-Art Collaboration', the events were co-curated and led in collaboration with different artists and practitioners.

Professional development project combining creative media such as visual arts, music, movement and spoken word. ​​Co-curated by Stephanie Schober and pianist Emmanuel Vass, they facilitated the studio space to explore new ideas for collaboration with contributions by guest artists Joshua Hubbard (Vogue dance artist), Selena Daye (Textile artist), Rubie Green (Songstress), Owen Ridley-DeMonick (Dance artist) and Oluwaseun Olayiwola (Poet and dance artist).
